The Components of Ventilated Facades

Chemically Bonded System (up to 4-storey)

Designed for exterior wall cladding with 6mm to 8mm thick porcelain slabs. For safety reasons, a fiberglass mesh is applied to the back of the porcelain slabs to prevent shattering caused by accidental breakage. It is a hidden mounting system that uses a longitudinal chemical-elastic adhesion on vertical aluminum profiles (T-100x50x2mm and L-42x50x2mm sections). The chemical adhesion consists of double-sided tape and DOWSIL 795 Silicone. The total system thickness is 22mm to 24mm with a minimum horizontal and vertical joint of 5mm between porcelain slabs.

Chemically Bonded with Anchors (above 4-storey)

The exact same system as above with the added aluminum support brackets anchored into the wall and porcelain slabs. The total system thickness will vary based on the thickness of the thermal insulation used.

Exterior Floor Covering

Porcelain raised patios consist of two parts, 2cm porcelain pavers and the pedestal system.

Porcelain Pavers

Very easy to clean and maintain. Highly slip-resistant. Withstands the harshest weather conditions. Low absorption rate. Frost, mold and stain resistant.

Pedestal System

Raise your outdoor floor to be flush with the door transition and in line with your indoor floor. Both floors are at the same height to reduce tripping hazards.

The Components of Raised Patios

Porcelain pavers are a type of outdoor tile that has gained popularity in recent years due to its durability, versatility and style. Porcelain pavers are made from high-quality clay, sand and feldspar that are fired at extremely high temperatures which results in a very strong, dense and non-porous material.

Porcelain pavers are available in various colors, textures and finishes that mimic the look and feel of natural stone, wood and concrete. Porcelain pavers can be used in replacement of traditional stone interlock hardscapes and landscaping or they can be installed on a pedestal system for balconies, decks, patios, rooftops and terraces.

The pedestal system is composed of only 3 basic elements (body, head and ring) designed to create raised outdoor floors. These are height-adjustable polypropylene supports with a tilting head to compensate slope differences up to 5%. The head is made of rubber to ensure an anti-noise and anti-slip system.
