TECHNICAL INFORMATION

What are the benefits of Caesarstone’s outdoor collection?

  • A durable outdoor kitchen with the convenience of a stain-free and easy-to-clean surface.
  • Withstands prolonged UV-ray exposure and extreme weather conditions for the long-run to ensure the surface maintains its look over time.
  • Extremely high-fire rated to resist high cooking temperatures.
  • Increased attention to cleanliness and hygiene with a 100% non-porous surface.
  • Ten-year warranty.

Are Caesarstone porcelain surfaces hygienic?

  • The surface is engineered to be highly non-porous, it is non-absorbent and does not host bacteria, mould or mildew. As a result, it remains safe and fresh for ultimate cleanliness.

What products to avoid in protecting porcelain?

  • Avoid strong chemicals, solvents, acids, alkalis, oxidizers or similar materials regardless of pH. Avoid harsh cleaning products such as oven/grill cleaners, dishwasher detergent, floor strippers, oil soaps, paint removers/strippers or any products containing trichloroethane or methylene chloride. Avoid products containing oils as they may leave a residue. You should rinse all products off thoroughly. If the surface comes into contact with any products that might damage it, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Check each cleaning product on an inconspicuous area first to ensure it does not damage the surface.

Which cleaning products are suitable for porcelain?

  • Use recommended cleaning products and check the product first by applying it to an inconspicuous area on the surface. It is best to avoid using the same cloth you use for washing dishes, as it may transfer oils and other contaminants to your surface. Do not use oven grill cleaners, floor strippers, toilet bowl cleaners, oil soaps, tarnish removers, furniture cleaners, drain products, wipes or cleaners specific to granite, marble and other natural stones. Should your surface accidentally be exposed to any potentially damaging products, rinse immediately with water to neutralize the effect.

How to clean non-polished finishes?

  • Honed and ultra rough finishes are more prone to metal marks, fingerprints and other signs of daily use, which can easily be removed with non-abrasive cleaning products such as soft scrub liquid gel.
